I am hesitant to tell the world my name is Karen, but that is the name my dad gave me, so what can I do? I live in Alaska and have found profound healing in plant medicine.
My goal is to ease suffering in people through plant medicine and Thai massage.
I created 4 Element Medicinals as a melding point between the herbal medicine from Alaska and Thai herbal medicine. I believe all plant medicine is powerful and am excited to share it’s beauty with you. In any given session I may include cupping, scraping, herbal compresses and, of course, Thai style touch.
I am a “layered woman” as my teacher defines me (yes, I have a teacher and my teacher has a teacher and so on for many generations). I am a wife, a mom, an herbalist, a Thai medicine practitioner, a school teacher, a lumberjack, a poodle lover, a twerker, a reader, a nature lover, a lifelong learner, and oh so much more. The truth is, none of us are 2-dimensional. It can be easy to see us that way through a screen, but, we are beautiful, multi-faceted people, working out our karma: living, loving, fucking, and fighting.
