Ethan grew up in Homer, Alaska where he lives during the summer farming peony flowers. In his late twenties he discovered and began practicing zen meditation, a road which led him to the work of Consciousness and martial arts teacher Peter Ralston. He has studied with Ralston for seven years now, including an eight month intensive consciousness apprenticeship in 2022.
Through a disciplined practice of radical curiosity and self-investigation Ethan has realized many experiential truths in the domains of relationship, communication, mind, awareness, and physical skill.
He has facilitated five Increasing Consciousness Groups previously in Homer and is looking forward to sharing this empowering work with the Anchorage community!
