March 20 - May 8
Fridays 5 - 6 PM
with Kevin Cassity
In a culture that teaches us to conform to external ideas about what is “good” for us—good posture, good diet, good exercise—Feldenkrais invites us to become internally referenced again, as we were naturally in childhood. Children move for exploration, curiosity, pleasure, and connection. There is no striving to measure up—only discovery.
Feldenkrais classes offer a gentle paradigm shift away from pushing, straining, and self-correction, and toward subtle, often unusual movement explorations. These explorations help build new neural pathways, regulate the nervous system, and expand our range of movement possibilities—supporting greater flexibility, coordination, and effortless power.
Join us for gentle, fun, movement explorations that facilitate:
• A felt sense of lightness, playfulness, self-expression, creativity
• Increased flexibility and range of motion
• Enhanced muscle function and coordination
• More powerful and fluid movement
• Improved neuromechanical efficiency
• Resolution of chronic pain and/or joint wear and tear
