I have recently returned to my home in Anchorage, Alaska after spending time in Texas. I was most excited to share my new-found yoga practice with friends, family, and my community here in Anchorage. In Austin TX, I was introduced to yoga by going to free and donation based pop up classes and I quickly fell in love with the way each class made me feel and the sense of community I felt when yoga practicing with others.
I completed my teacher training in 2016 at East Side Yoga in Austin, TX. Since then I have enjoyed practicing and teaching a variety of different styles of yoga. My classes at Open Space (Yoga Basics and Gentle Yoga) focus on breath, stillness, body awareness, and modification. I love to offer the use of props throughout class and hope to offer something for everyone. I hope to see you soon.
